Karl Wirsum
On the occasion of Karl Wirsum’s third exhibition with the gallery, a new illustrated catalog with an essay by Dan Nadel will be published. Karl Wirsum, The Hard Way: Selections from the 1970s is an exhibition of drawings, sculptures and paintings. The 1970s was Wirsum’s most restless period geographically and artistically, as he moved back and forth from Chicago to Sacramento and experimented with materials, formats, and visual languages.
